To
the small but hopefully eye catching, ever expanding latest
version of my web site that has been set up to show a
selection of my illustration and artwork which has and
can be used commercially in the areas of editorial, children's
book publishing and greeting cards.
My name is Debora Burr, and I am an illustrator/designer
based in the South West of England.
I have over 27 years of experience as a freelancer,
20 years working closely with children's book packagers/publishers
as a designer/ illustrator with my own books selling worldwide
in over 15 languages.
Working in a variety of medium; watercolours,
gouache, coloured pencil, to name a few as well as digitally
using Painter and Photoshop.
My artwork is varied in style covering a
wide subject matter with a special affinity for animal
illustration.

am happy to work with Art direction on a specific brief
or independently and come up with new ideas for you.
Used to working to deadlines, Once given
an initial brief I will work to produce pencil roughs
for your approval before undertaken the final artwork.
I negotiate the price for each job directly,
taking into account the eventual use of the work, medium
and the amount of time it will take.
Artwork can be sent anywhere in the world, by
email, CD or as hard copy.
Prices vary and are negotiable.
